Retirement means time to travel and service opportunities. We are preparing to go away - tying up loose ends, & thinking about life and the importance of relationships ... This saying comes to mind :
We make a living by what we earn; we make a life by what we give.
I don't know who wrote that but I am glad they did. I know it's true.
Spring (my favorite season) is happening and we are looking forward to this trip which includes Ontario, Germany and Australia ... travelling by boat, bus, train, car and plane .... seeing new places and visiting with family, friends and soon-to-be friends.
But first we do birthdays! And first we do the Titanic Exhibit. Bring it on!

Count Down
Thinking -- dreaming -- anticipating .... trains, planes and automobiles ... family in far away places .... new opportunities ... exploring other continents ... looking ahead, enjoying the moment .. It isn't a dream but it feels like one! An attitude of gratitude.... the breath of the unknowns like spring blossoms .. full of wonder and freshness.... this is delightful!
